Duties and Functions of Academic Affairs Secretary

The secretary of academic affairs is a member and rapporteur of the academic council and responsible of implementation and promotion of academic performance in the academy through designing plans, directives and programs. In addition, he endeavors to promote performance and curriculums of the higher diploma, MSc and PhD programs. Moreover, he is heading a committee to select students for the different programs. He is also responsible of students’ academic register as well as follows up of submission, registration and supervision of exams besides preparation of academic certificates and coordination with related institutions inside and outside the country. Furthermore, he works to promote the performance of teaching staff and supervising academic competitions, prizes and honorable degrees
